 Purchasing Assistant

Sun State Landscape Management, Inc. is a licensed landscape design, construction, irrigation, and maintenance contractor located in Parrish, Florida. Locally owned and operated, we have serviced Southwest Florida for over 30 years. 

We are seeking a full-time Purchasing Assistant with CDL designation

Education

· High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Qualifications/Skills 

• Valid Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record (six points or fewer) - CDL preferred 
• Knowledge of landscape materials and Florida trees and shrubs 
• Two years of professional experience is required in procurement of landscape materials  
• Must be comfortable and experienced pulling a gooseneck and all other types of trailers
• Bi-lingual helpful

Responsibilities

• Locate and procure landscape materials, trees and shrubs
• Load, secure, transport, and unload trees and shrubs and landscape materials onto the trailer using a forklift or similar
• Execute instructions from management staff and follow company policies as outlined in manual provided 
• Attend Company-held safety and policy meetings 
• Represent Company in a dignified, professional manner and treat all co-workers with respect.
