Landscape Crew Leader

Sun State Landscape Management, Inc. is a licensed landscape design, construction, irrigation, and maintenance contractor located in Parrish, Florida. Locally owned and operated, we have serviced Southwest Florida for over 30 years.

We are seeking a full-time experienced Landscape Crew Leader

Education

Preferred - minimum High School Diploma or Equivalency/GED

Qualifications

• Clean Florida driver’s license 
• Able to read and follow plans/blueprints
• 3 years of experience in the landscape field
• Have extensive knowledge of Florida tree and shrub species
• Experience operating skid steer loader and similar machinery
• Bi-lingual a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of 3-4 team members during the installation of landscape.
• Load, secure and transport equipment and landscape supplies to job site
• Communicate effectively and resolve problems efficiently
• Oversee daily work and perform installation work with team members. 
• Heavy lifting as needed while assisting in the moving of bulky items including plant materials, tools, and other items.
• Operate equipment including hand-held tools and skid steer tractors.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow all safety protocols
• Represent Company in a dignified, professional manner and treat co-workers with respect
